**Job Description**:
**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jira/Confluence Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The role involves administering, configuring, and maintaining our Jira and Confluence instances. The primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of these tools, as well as providing support and training to users.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer and maintain Jira and Confluence instances, including user management, permissions, and workflows.
- Configure and customize Jira and Confluence to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features and functionalities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Jira and Confluence users.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to educate users on best practices and efficient use of Jira and Confluence.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with the latest Jira and Confluence features and enhancements, and recommend upgrades or changes as needed.
- Work with other administrators and stakeholders to ensure integration and compatibility with different tools and systems.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Jira/Confluence/Jira Service Management Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence administration, including user management, permissions, and workflows.
- Familiarity with development, including REST APIs and Python.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence plugins and add-ons.
- Experience configuring and customizing Jira and Confluence to meet specific business requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to provide training and support to users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
- Certification in Jira and Confluence administration is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Jira/Confluence administration (e.g., Atlassian Certified Administrator).
- Experience with tools such as AHA, Smartsheet, and GitHub.
