Operating and maintaining the plantThis includes managing the equipment, chemicals, and other materials used in the treatment process.
Monitoring and testingThis includes regularly monitoring water quality, testing for pollutants, and adjusting treatment processes as needed.Preparing reports and maintaining recordsThis includes keeping records on the performance of the ETP plant, including water quality, chemical usage, and plant efficiency. Ensuring compliance with regulationsThis includes ensuring that the effluent discharged meets regulatory requirements. Preventing overflowsThis includes preventing overflows inside ETP or of drains as well as effluent stagnation. Maintaining pH controlThis includes maintaining pH control and equalized quality of wastewater leaving physical treatment. Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of water chemistry, effluent treatment processes, and environmental regulations.Ability to perform water quality tests and interpret laboratory results.Proficient in the use of laboratory instruments and equipment.Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and suggest improvements in the treatment process.Strong attention to detail when handling samples, testing, and reporting results.Knowledge of Effluent Treatment Processes:Understanding of common treatment processes such as coagulation, flocculation, filtration, biological treatment, and chemical dosing.Knowledge of water treatment chemicals and their proper use.Problem-Solving Skills:Capable of troubleshooting issues related to water quality, chemical dosages, or treatment inefficiencies.Ability to suggest process improvements based on test results.Regulatory Knowledge:Familiarity with local, state, and national environmental regulations regarding wastewater discharge and effluent quality.Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.Soft Skills:Communication Skills:Ability to effectively communicate test results and recommendations to plant management and operators.Good reporting skills for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.Attention to Detail:Precision in conducting tests, handling samples, and maintaining accurate records.Ability to adjust to changing plant conditions and troubleshoot issues quickly.Physical Requirements:Ability to work in a laboratory environment and occasionally handle hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, reagents).Willingness to work in shifts if required, particularly for plants operating 24/7.

Pay: ₹12,340.07 - ₹30,000.00 per month
