**Role Overview**:
Reports directly to Global GA Operations Manager and interfaces with General Ledger team, tax compliance team, statutory auditors, direct tax and indirect tax consultants. Will lead the Statutory Financial Reporting Team to ensure statutory audits are completed on time in compliance with various regulations.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and review of draft financial statements as per the applicable laws
- Preparing / reviewing audit schedules including tax audit schedules
- Interface with statutory and tax auditors for the completion of statutory audits in the stipulated timelines
- Thorough knowledge of Accounting Frameworks like IFRS, IND-AS, US GAAP etc
- Should possess good knowledge of tax regulations including Direct and Indirect Taxes of India, Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
- Actively communicates with other departments and follows up on corrective actions.
- Coordinates with other verticals and project teams to ensure that information required, supporting both internal and local statutory requirements are obtained and provided in a timely manner.
- Perform special studies or analyses from time to time as needed and requested by supervisors and managers.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
- Chartered Accountant preferably from Big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, KPMG, PwC & E&Y).
- 7-10 years of post qualification experience in handling the statutory audits and taxation.
- Thorough knowledge of various Accounting Standards like IFRS, IND-AS, US GAAP etc
- Good Knowledge of tax regulations including Corporate Income Tax, Expatriate taxation, Companies Act, GST, VAT, Excise & Customs Act, International Taxation.
- Should possess good communication and presentation skills
- Should also possess good Knowledge of MS Office, Oracle, SAP.
- Good analytical skills.
