Job Title - Data Architect

Work mode - Hybrid

Primary responsibility includes the following:

- Collaborate with business, enterprise architects, product teams, drive discussions to gather business requirements and identify pain points.
- Create information strategy and solution to address gaps.
- Create information architecture roadmap with now, near and far view.
- Facilitate discussions to understand source of data, establish system of record, and create current & future state data flows.
- Lead design discussions, create conceptual data models, logical data models and data dictionaries. Manage and maintain data models in Power Designer repository.
- Define reporting strategy and identify sources for reporting data.
- Perform data quality analysis, identify issues, and propose solutions to resolve them.
- Guide product teams to create physical data model design and data dictionary. Review design adherence and ensure standards, guidelines & best practices are followed.
- Consult and guide product team through design and implementation.

**Requirements**:

- Requires a bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field
- 7+ years Data Modeling experience with expertise in Relational and/or Dimensional Analysis
- 5+ years in experience in Data Warehouse database design
- Have a deep understanding of data modeling principles and architecture concepts.
- Extensive experience designing databases supporting complex business process.
- Experience in supporting database technologies - Oracle, DB2, Teradata, Hadoop, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Big Query.
- Hands on experience on SAP Sybase Power Designer / ERWIN tool is ideal.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics, Google Cloud Technologies
- Experience in implementing MDM solution.
- Nice to have Salesforce and CRM experience
- Ability to facilitate and lead design discussions, coordinate with multiple teams and drive architecture decisions.
- Must be capable of successfully supporting multiple initiatives concurrently
- Capable to work well individually and as a team member
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly at all levels
