Officer, Exposure Visit

Position Overview:
The Officer, Exposure Visit, will be strategic position that will plan, conceptualize, and coordinate for the exposure visit of different stakeholders to give them broad overview of the Room to Read work. The incumbent will closely coordinate with the country and state office in ensuring to make logístical arrangements to execute the exposure visits in an efficient manner.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and coordination of the exposure visit in an effective manner.- To coordinate and collaborate with state and country team in ensuring all the logístical arrangements are in place.- To develop a detailed visit itinerary and a brief note on the objectives of the visit.- Orient the state, country team and external stake holders on the itinerary of the exposure visit and to incorporate their feedback in preparing an inclusive itinerary for the field visit.- Will prepare a sociology-cultural geographical sketch of the geography, where the visit will be conducted.- To research about the hotels, travel plans and any potential risks/challenges pertaining to the exposure visit.- Will ensure the Child Protection Code of Conduct and other legal protocols are being followed during the exposure visit.- To support country team in communicating with external stakeholders about their concerns/queries pertaining to the visit.- To prepare holistic report on the exposure visit, by collating the feedback of the internal and external stakeholders and documenting what went well, and what could have been better.- Follow up with state teams and Inco teams on their feedback on the visit.- The incumbent will also manage and resolve any incident/conflict that may arise during the visit and keep the reporting manager posted with the issue and resolution plan.- Incumbent will raise the requisite PR for the visits.- The incumbent in collaboration with country admin team will also support in filling for visa’s and manage the international travel.- To Undertake recci visit to understand the program and location better.- To coordinate the logístical arrangements of monitoring visit of Room to Read’s partner organizations.- To forecast and prepare annual budgets for the exposure and monitoring visits.- Orient’s school staff and RtR field staff on the format for the site visit including the talking points.- Assist communication team with the social media post of the visits and with branding.- Be a RtR spokesperson during donor visits by being able to accurately and confidently convey RtR’s message and educational situation in the country- Captures learning experiences (best practices and lessons learned) based on donor and state team feedback and applies them to future visits.

Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.- Master’s degree preferred.- 5-8 years of experience.- Excellent coordination skills.- Strong written and oral communication skills.- Open to travel.- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
