merchandiser's job is to ensure that a retail store has the right products in stock, at the right price, and in the right place to maximize sales. Merchandisers are responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Inventory management Monitoring inventory levels, submitting inventory reports, and stocking shelves Product selection Working with buyers to decide what products to stock, and analyzing market trends and consumer demand to determine which products will be in high demand Pricing Working with executives, marketers, and salespeople to set prices that are good for the market and profit Display Working with visual display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed Sales analysis Monitoring sales, identifying losses or stock wastage, and analyzing the previous season's sales Customer feedback Gathering information on customers' reactions to products, and reviewing customer feedback to predict sales trends Competitor analysis Reviewing competitors, including pricing, profit, marketing, and other progress Collaboration Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, analysts, and retail teams Communication Communicating customer problems to the company and addressing customer issues Budgeting Planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges Merchandisers may work in a general position, or specialize as either Retail Merchandisers or Visual Merchandisers.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
