As an **Area Sales Manager** for Mumbai, you will be responsible for driving and achieving sales targets and collections in the region. You will work closely with multiple distributors, expand the retail network, and explore new business opportunities in the non-book trade to grow the business. Your role will involve direct engagement with schools, corporates, and other institutions to generate sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Achieve and exceed set sales and collection targets in the Mumbai region.
- Work closely with multiple distributors to ensure product availability and effective distribution.
- Expand the retail network by identifying and on-boarding new retail partners.
- Visit schools and corporate clients to promote Amar Chitra Katha products and procure bulk orders.
- Explore opportunities to grow the business in non-book trade channels.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance to the Regional Sales Manager.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Graduate in any discipline.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the **publishing industry**.
- **Skills**:

- Strong selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven track record of working with distributors and retail networks.
- **Personality Traits**:

- A go-getter attitude with the ability to drive results independently.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to explore new market opportunities.
