**Greeting Patients and Visitors**:Act as the first point of contact, providing a warm and welcoming environment, directing patients and visitors to the appropriate areas, and answering general inquiries.
- **Scheduling and Confirming Appointments**:Scheduling and confirming appointments, reminding patients about upcoming appointments, and managing patient schedules effectively.
- **Answering Phone Calls**:Answering phone calls promptly and professionally, transferring calls to the appropriate departments, and taking accurate messages.
- **Verifying Insurance Information**:Verifying patient insurance information, updating records, and ensuring accurate billing processes.
- **Collecting Payments and Handling Billing Questions**:Collecting co-pays and other payments, answering billing inquiries, and assisting patients with financial matters.
- **Maintaining Patient Records**:Updating and maintaining accurate patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and insurance details, while adhering to strict privacy regulations.
- **Assisting with Administrative Tasks**:Performing various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping, as well as preparing documents and correspondence.
- **Maintaining a Clean and Organized Reception Area**:Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and inviting, ensuring a professional and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- **Communicating with Medical Staff**:Coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, conveying information, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and medical staff.
