Position: Phonics Teacher

Location: Remote (Online) Employment Type: Part-Time

*About Us:* School Friend is an innovative online platform dedicated to providing holistic development classes for children aged 3.5 to 7 years. Our focus is on creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children can explore their creativity and develop foundational skills in phonics and arts.

*Key Responsibilities:* - Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate phonics lessons to children aged 3.5 to 7 years.
- Use interactive methods, games, and activities to teach letter sounds, blending, and decoding skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
- Assess and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians. - Collaborate with the curriculum team to improve lesson plans and teaching strategies. - Attend regular training sessions and team meetings as required.

*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification or training in phonics teaching methodologies (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Montessori, etc.).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching phonics to young children. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.
- Creative and patient approach to teaching. - Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet teaching environment.

*Preferred Skills:*
- Familiarity with arts and creative teaching techniques.
- Experience working with children in an online setting. - Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹200.00 - ₹500.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 per week
