Setting up and taking down lab equipment as specified by teachers of the Science Department.
- Assist teachers in conducting experiment, if and when instructed.
- Assist students in carrying out experiments, if and when necessary, under the guidance of the teacher.
- Preparing of laboratory materials required by teachers.
- Maintaining general tidiness and organization of the laboratories at the end of each workday
- Labeling, organizing and storing of chemical and materials with awareness of safety issues, and inventoried periodically.
- Mixing of chemicals required for experiments.
- Storage and disposal of chemical, chemical compounds and waste materials in safe manner.
- Cleaning and storing of glassware.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment are in good working condition, clean, store in a safe manner and inventoried periodically.
- Responsible for preparing the orders for chemicals in consultation with the teachers, and submitting orders to the Purchasing Department.
- Responsible for checking the orders upon delivery to ensure orders are complete and in good condition.
- Maintaining resource inventory

B.Sc. and or M.Sc. (Chemistry)
