**Hiring Full-time Remote Video Editor**

**Overview**:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team, specializing in editing long-form (5-20 minutes) and short-form (30-60 seconds) YouTube videos and other social media content. This is a full-time, remote position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent in English
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in digital technology and editing software packages, including Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Final Cut, and the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Photoshop) for tasks such as sequence settings, frame rates, warp stabilization, color grading, audio correction, motion tracking, motion graphics, graphics creation, photo editing, compositions, photo corrections, and thumbnails.
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
- Creative mindset with excellent storytelling skills
- Proficient in post-production with a solid knowledge and experience in various aspects
- Ability to take clear and direct feedback from team members

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle 3-4 projects per week
- Exhibit self-initiative and creativity while adhering to basic initial guidance
- Introduce fresh ideas to enhance projects and take them from good to exceptional
- Employ innovative video editing tactics to make the content unique, engaging, and enjoyable
- Create new assets and transitional elements using Photoshop or Illustrator
- Occasionally perform basic rotoscoping
- Import and organize various media files into editing software, ensuring correct formatting and updates
- Develop a clear understanding of the video's storyline and purpose
- Present an initial proposed storyboard draft for approval before digitally altering the video
- Enhance video and sound quality using appropriate software
- Edit videos to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other vital project elements
- Ensure finalized videos adhere to specified formatting and presentation guidelines

**Salary**: ₹37,172.52 - ₹41,302.80 per month
