The Data Architect will be part of ProCogia's Data Engineering practice. This role will proactively contribute in ProCogia's mission that enable our customers to make intelligent and agile business decisions through strategically tailored data solutions. The Data Architect works with our customers to Design, implement, and maintain data architecture, including data models, data dictionaries, data flow diagrams and Data pipelines.
Implement the master data and reference data strategy in the organization.
Implement (from idea generation to delivery) data-driven, business-impacting analytical use cases.

The Azure Data Architect has the following responsibilities and duties:

- This position needs strong data architecture innovation and execution mindset and will act as a trustworthy advisor to various stakeholders
- Design, develop and implement Data Architecture solution in a Azure cloud environment.
- Perform detailed Requirements gathering and analysis, Data mapping and data profilingTranslate business requirements into data models and meta data, test data, and data quality standards.
- Develop data models to support data analysis and reporting
- Develop mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and architecture, with the goal of ensuring data quality, data security and availability.
- Design and creation of scalable, secured data pipelines
- Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data, processes and share insights with different stakeholders using reporting and visualizations tools.
- Design infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources into Snowflake and other platforms
- Understand existing implementation and should enhance it as needed.
- Work with other data engineers, data ingestion specialists, and experts across cross-functional teams.
- Work on large datasets to meet functional and business requirements
