Surveyor

**Job Summary**:The Transmission Line Surveyor is responsible for conducting surveys along the proposed routes of electrical transmission lines. This includes gathering data on topography, land features, existing structures, and other relevant information to support the design and construction of transmission projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Field Surveys**:Conduct on-site surveys to collect accurate and detailed data on topography, vegetation, soil conditions, and other environmental factors.
Use surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and drones to measure distances, angles, and elevations.

**Right-of-Way Analysis**:Identify and assess potential right-of-way issues, including land ownership, easements, and potential obstacles.
Work with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with land use regulations and obtain necessary permits.

**Mapping and Documentation**:Create detailed maps, drawings, and reports based on survey data.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of survey information, including any changes or challenges encountered during the survey process.

**Collaboration**:Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and construction teams to provide survey data for project planning and design.
Communicate with landowners and local authorities to address concerns and obtain necessary approvals.

**Technology Utilization**:Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and incorporate them into the surveying process for increased efficiency and accuracy.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in land surveying, preferably in the context of electrical transmission projects.
- Proficiency in surveying tools and software.
- Strong knowledge of land use regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Physical Requirements**:The job may require working outdoors in various weather conditions and may involve walking, hiking, or climbing in diverse terrains.

**Salary**: From ₹22,000.00 per month
