**Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**: The primary responsibility is to edit video footage to create compelling and coherent visual narratives. This involves tasks such as cutting and rearranging clips, adding transitions, and adjusting the pacing of the video to maintain viewer engagement.
- **Music Selection**: Utilizing their basic understanding of music, the video editor can assist in selecting appropriate background music or soundtracks for the videos. They can choose music that enhances the mood and tone of the video and ensures it aligns with the overall message or theme.
- **Audio Editing**: While not necessarily composing music from scratch, the video editor can perform basic audio editing tasks such as adjusting volume levels, fading in/out music tracks, and synchronizing audio with video transitions.
- **Storyboarding and Planning**: Collaborating with other team members to plan the visual and auditory aspects of the video project. This may involve storyboarding scenes, discussing music options, and ensuring that the editing process aligns with the project's goals.
- **Communication and Collaboration**: Effectively communicating with clients, directors, and other team members to understand their vision for the project. They may also collaborate with sound designers or composers to integrate custom music or sound effects into the video.
- **Quality Control**: Ensuring the technical quality of the final video product, including checking for audio clarity, visual consistency, and overall coherence. They may need to make adjustments based on feedback from clients or supervisors to meet quality standards.
- **Learning and Growth**: Continuously improving their skills and knowledge of video editing techniques, as well as expanding their understanding of music and composition. This may involve self-study, attending workshops or training sessions, and seeking feedback from more experienced colleagues.
- **File Management and Organization**: Keeping video project files organized and properly labeled to facilitate smooth workflow and collaboration with other team members. This includes managing versions of edited videos and ensuring that all necessary assets are easily accessible.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
