**Job Description: Travel Operations Executive**

**Position Title**: Travel Operations Executive

**Location**: Nariman Point, Mumbai

**Department**: Travel Operations

**Reports To**: Travel Operations Manager

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Travel Coordination**:

- Plan and book domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries for employees and clients.
- Ensure all travel bookings are in compliance with the company’s travel policies and budget.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with travel vendors, such as airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and travel agencies.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with travel vendors to ensure cost-effective travel solutions.
- **Itinerary Management**:

- Create detailed travel itineraries and provide travelers with necessary travel documents and information.
- Coordinate with travelers to make any necessary changes or adjustments to travel plans.
- **Expense Management**:

- Process travel-related expenses and ensure timely reimbursement.
- Maintain accurate records of travel expenses and report on travel budget utilization.
- **Emergency Support**:

- Provide 24/7 support for travelers in case of emergencies, including rebooking flights, arranging accommodations, and offering assistance during travel disruptions.
- Monitor global travel alerts and communicate any potential travel risks to travelers.
- **Policy Compliance**:

- Ensure all travel activities comply with the company's travel policies and procedures.
- Regularly review and update travel policies to reflect current best practices and legal requirements.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate travel records and databases.
- Prepare and present regular reports on travel activities, expenses, and trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in travel operations, travel coordination, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using travel management software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations and requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in travel management (e.g., Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Global Travel Professional (GTP)).
- Experience working in a corporate travel environment.
- Familiarity with travel risk management practices.
