**Job Summary**:
This role requires a deep understanding of **English grammar, literature, composition, and comprehension**, along with the ability to instill confidence in students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Curriculum Planning & Lesson Delivery**
- Develop and implement **comprehensive lesson plans** based on the ICSE English syllabus.
- Teach **prose, poetry, grammar, composition, and comprehension** with a focus on critical thinking and creativity.
- Incorporate **modern teaching methods, storytelling techniques, and interactive activities** to enhance learning.
- Use **audio-visual aids, e-learning platforms, and creative exercises** to engage students effectively.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of **different learning styles and academic abilities**.

**2. Assessment & Student Evaluation**
- Design and conduct **formative and summative assessments** in line with ICSE examination patterns.
- Provide **timely feedback and constructive criticism** to help students improve their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Prepare students for **ICSE board examinations** by conducting practice tests and revising key concepts.
- Analyze student performance and provide **individualized support and remedial classes** as needed.

**3. Classroom Management & Student Engagement**
- Create a **positive, inclusive, and disciplined** classroom environment.
- Encourage **class participation, group discussions, and debates** to enhance verbal and analytical skills.
- Foster **a love for reading and literature** by recommending books and extracurricular reading materials.
- Address student queries, academic difficulties, and **provide mentorship and guidance** when needed.

**4. Co-curricular & Extracurricular Activities**
- Organize and participate in **literary events, debates, essay writing competitions, and drama performances**.
- Guide students in **elocution, public speaking, and creative writing competitions**.
- Collaborate with the English department to arrange **book fairs, storytelling sessions, and poetry recitations**.
- Encourage participation in **inter-school competitions and ICSE-related academic activities**.

**5. Parental Communication & Progress Reporting**
- Maintain regular **communication with parents** regarding student progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
- Conduct **parent-teacher meetings (PTMs)** to discuss academic performance and behavior.
- Offer **guidance on at-home reading habits, learning strategies, and exam preparation tips**.

**6. Professional Development & Collaboration**
- Stay updated with **ICSE syllabus changes, teaching methodologies, and educational best practices**.
- Attend **workshops, training sessions, and faculty development programs** to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop **cross-curricular projects and interdisciplinary learning activities**.
- Contribute to **school events, academic committees, and curriculum planning discussions**.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
