**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor the sewage treatment plant to ensure the proper treatment of wastewater.
- Conduct regular inspections of the STP equipment, including pumps, blowers, valves, and filters, to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment, to keep the STP in good working condition.
- Collect samples of influent and effluent wastewater for analysis and conduct necessary tests to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and adjust chemical dosing systems to maintain the desired treatment levels and optimize the STP's performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs or coordinate with maintenance technicians for more complex issues.
- Keep detailed records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and laboratory test results.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in sewage treatment to enhance the plant's efficiency and effectiveness.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an STP Operator or in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of sewage treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with the operation of pumps, blowers, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
- Ability to interpret and analyze laboratory test results.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Good record-keeping and documentation abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting heavy equipment when required.
- Valid certification or license related to sewage treatment operations (if applicable).
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
