**Job Summary**:
The VMC Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and basic maintenance of a Vertical Machining Center (VMC). This role involves handling machining processes to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and with high quality. The operator will work closely with the programming team and ensure the machine runs smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate the VMC machine to produce high-precision parts as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform machine setup including tooling changes, fixture setups, and zero-point setup.
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimension specifications.
- Maintain the machine by performing routine checks and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance staff for major repairs.
- Monitor machine efficiency and adjust feeds, speeds, and tools as required.
- Keep accurate production logs and report any discrepancies in the manufacturing process.
- Follow safety standards and ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience operating VMC machines (1-2 years preferred).
- Familiarity with CNC machining, tooling, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of machining operations, cutting speeds, and material properties.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.

**Skills**:

- Understanding of machining tolerances and precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machine operation.
- Ability to follow operational instructions and work efficiently to meet production goals.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
