Cutting Master

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze production orders and prepare cutting plans accordingly.
- Interpret patterns, marker plans, and cutting instructions accurately.
- Supervise the fabric spreading, layering, and cutting process.
- Ensure quality and precision in fabric cutting, minimizing wastage and errors.
- Check fabric shrinkage, grain line alignment, and fabric defects before cutting.
- Maintain cutting records and coordinate with pattern masters and sewing supervisors.
- Train and guide cutting team members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
- Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of cutting tasks.
- Handle fabric stock and usage reports as per production requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized cutting floor.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Cutting Master in a garment factory.
- Strong knowledge of garment patterns, fabrics (woven/knit/denim as applicable), and marker planning.
- Familiarity with manual and machine-based cutting methods.
- Ability to work with CAD systems (optional but preferred).
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks when needed.
- Understanding of quality control in cutting processes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in export-oriented or large-scale garment manufacturing units.
- Knowledge of pattern making and CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
