Welder Turner

Operate **turning machines (lathe)** to manufacture and repair mechanical parts as per drawings.
- Perform **welding (MIG/TIG/Arc/Gas)** on mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
- Read and interpret **engineering drawings and blueprints**.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Maintain welding equipment and lathe machines in proper working condition.
- Ensure **quality control** by checking dimensions and surface finishes.
- Follow all **safety protocols** and use protective equipment.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- ITI / Diploma in **Fitter, Turner, or Welding** (or equivalent trade).
- Proven experience in **both welding and turning operations**.
- Knowledge of different welding processes and materials.
- Ability to operate conventional lathe machines and basic machining tools.
- Good understanding of measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Minimum **2-5 years** in welding and turning roles.
- Experience in **heavy machinery, fabrication, or industrial equipment maintenance** is an advantage.
