Solution Architect Iv

This position is responsible for leading and managing the technical aspects of MuleSoft integration projects. Person plays a critical role in designing and implementing MuleSoft solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of integration projects, and providing technical leadership to the development team. Position is focused on providing continuous innovations and enhancements to TE Connectivity’s CRM, Marketing and Service teams Individual will liaison with technical architects and development teams to convert technical strategies and roadmaps into robust world class solutions

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Lead MuleSoft integration projects: Take ownership of end-to-end MuleSoft integration projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment
- Technical leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and architectural principles.
- Development and customization: Develop and customize MuleSoft integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including designing APIs, building integration flows, creating connectors, and configuring middleware components.
- Integration architecture: Design and implement integration architecture patterns, such as service-oriented architecture (SOA), event-driven architecture (EDA), and microservices, to ensure the scalability, flexibility, and reusability of integration solutions.
- Performance optimization: The architect optimizes the performance of MuleSoft integration solutions by analyzing and fine-tuning the system architecture, configuration settings, and message routing. They identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure efficient and scalable integrations.
- Security and Governance: MuleSoft architects are responsible for implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. They define and enforce security policies, manage access controls, and implement encryption and tokenization techniques to protect sensitive data.
- Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create technical documentation, including design documents, deployment guides, and best practice guidelines. Share knowledge and conduct training sessions to empower the team and promote the effective use of MuleSoft technologies.
- Continuous improvement: Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft features, tools, and trends. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation within the integration landscape.
- Experience leading Agile development teams to design and implement innovative solutions with a focus on adhering to standards, best practices, and code quality techniques.

**Educational Required/Desired**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

**Competencies And Experience**:

- Around 10-15 years of IT experience with minimum 6 years on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing MuleSoft integration solutions (both ETL/Batch and Real-time integrations)
- Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule Runtime, API Manager, DataWeave, and Anypoint Studio.
- Proficiency in integration technologies and protocols such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP, and JMS.
- Experience working with database technologies: Relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) is a must. Experience with NoSQL databases (example: MongoDB) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Java, with knowledge of other languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Groovy being a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and their integration with MuleSoft. Experience with Salesforce Integration is a plus.
