5 Year experience as ICU / NICU Nurse

**Key Responsibilities**

**Clinical Leadership & Patient Care**
- **Oversee Patient Care**: Coordinates and evaluates the delivery of patient care throughout the hospital, ensuring standards of practice are met.3
- **Clinical Resource**: Acts as an expert clinical resource for nursing staff, providing guidance, and support in complex patient situations.4
- **Quality Assurance**: Monitors the quality of care, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and ensures adherence to patient safety protocols.5
- **Make Rounds**: Conducts regular rounds on nursing units to assess patient needs, support staff, and identify potential issues.
- **Respond to Emergencies**: Manages and coordinates the hospital's response to medical emergencies (e.g., Code Blue) and internal/external disasters.

**Staff Management & Development**
- **Supervision**: Manages and mentors nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and nursing support staff.6
- **Staffing & Scheduling**: Manages staffing levels based on patient acuity, census, and staff availability to ensure safe and adequate coverage.7
- **Performance Evaluation**: Provides input for and assists with performance evaluations, counseling, and disciplinary actions for nursing staff.8
- **Conflict Resolution**: Mediates conflicts among staff, patients, and families, promoting a positive and professional work environment.9
- **Mentorship**: Fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional development, acting as a role model and mentor to the team.10

**Administrative & Operational Duties**
- **On-Site Administrator**: Serves as the designated administrative representative for the hospital during off-hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).11
- **Patient Flow**: Manages patient throughput, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, to optimize bed capacity.
- **Policy & Procedure**: Ensures all staff comply with hospital policies, nursing protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission, Department of Health).12
- **Incident Management**: Investigates and reports on patient, staff, or visitor incidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- **Collaboration**: Liaises with physicians, department managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective hospital operations.13
- **Resource Management**: Manages the allocation of supplies and equipment during the shift to meet patient care needs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Nursing supervision: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Registration with UP Nursing Council (required)
