Regional Demand Planner Asia (Job level P3) for Pune location

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for analysis and coordination with sales units and customer support team in APAC region for forecasting process and forecasting accuracy, Finish product inventory management for DC, Strategic stock process support and operational performance reporting.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for forecast accuracy, analysis, update and communication for Asian DC and SU.
- Responsible for the strategic stock process. (Stocking Policy)
- Local warehouse stock monitoring for Asia.
- Time to time review of stock items and stock parameters.
- Ensures coordination with relevant stakeholders regarding any improvement activities related with stock availability, lead time reduction, optimize utilization of resources and inventory control.
- Responsible for analysis and to drive work in process and finish goods stock optimization initiatives on regular basis.
- Participate and support regional/global initiatives or projects as needed.
- Responsible for aligning schedule with relevant stakeholders.

COMPETENCIES
- Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
- Understanding of Supply chain planning process
- Knowledge of M3
- Knowledge of Office 365 Tools Including Power BI
- SCP Certification

SOFT SKILL REQUIRED
- Good communication skill written and Verbal
- Good Team player and can work independently with limited guidance
- Solves problems in simple situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
- Evaluate and use suitable methods, tools and processes. Contribute to sharing of best practice within own area.

EXPERIENCE : Min 8+ years’ of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning

EDUCATION : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. APICS or equivalent Certification is added advantage
