
Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer

**Responsibilities**:
- Administrative support to the monthly service-line Quality Audit
check.
- Understanding of how data and insights can support
improvement
Desired Skills & Experience
- Conversant in Microsoft Office software systems including
advanced IT skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with an ability
to develop effective reports and presentations
- Highly self-motivated. Sets themselves and helps others to set
ambitious goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
complex issues to managers and staff which may sometimes be
contentious, with the ability to deal constructively with
information clients/users
- Capable of prioritizing and organizing competing demands, with a
flexible approach to managing within constantly changing and
complex situations and environments
- Experience with the development of KPIs and metrics, with a solid
understanding of rationale, definitions, and considerations, to
provide realistic performance information and to identify.

- Experience within a Health care and IT background environment.
- Previous experience in clinical audit, incident management, or
research
- Understanding of clinical audit and quality improvement
processes, procedures, and methodologies.
- Ability to produce clear written reports, incorporating statistical
information appropriately.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Adept in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to plan and prioritize own workload
- Ability to deal tactfully with people, and influence and motivate
others
- High level of literacy and numeracy
- Ability to develop and manipulate information in databases
and/or spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational skills
- Understanding of qualitative data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with clinical terms.
- Knowledge and experience with Quality Improvement (QI) and
Improvement Science Principles
