Interior Design Faculty

**Job Summary**
## **Key Responsibilities**
- **Teaching**:

- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, studio projects, and workshops.
- Provide constructive critiques and foster a dynamic learning environment.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of course materials and syllabi.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
- **Student Mentorship**:

- Guide students in academic and career planning.
- Supervise capstone projects, internships, and independent study projects.
- **Professional Engagement**:

- Conduct research, participate in exhibitions, or maintain a professional practice.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners for student opportunities.
- **Institutional Contributions**:

- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and accreditation processes.
- Support recruitment and outreach activities for the program.
**Qualifications**
- **Education**:

- Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- NCIDQ certification or equivalent is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in interior design or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage students.
