**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Accurately maintain inventory levels, ensuring all materials such as plywood, laminates, and veneers are properly stocked and organized.
- **Receiving and Dispatching Goods**: Oversee the receiving of deliveries, checking for accuracy against purchase orders, and ensuring proper storage of goods.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- **Stock Organization**: Organize and label products systematically for easy identification and access.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Prepare and pack orders for customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries using inventory management software.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols within the store, including the safe handling of materials.
- **Customer Assistance**: Provide assistance to customers in locating products and provide information about product specifications when needed.
- **Coordination with Sales and Purchasing Teams**: Work closely with sales and purchasing teams to forecast inventory needs and place orders accordingly.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a furniture material store.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with furniture materials such as plywood, laminates, veneers, and other related products.
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (preferred but not essential).
- Good physical condition, able to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and assisting customers.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Environment**: Warehouse/store environment with regular lifting and moving of heavy materials.
- **Hours**: Full-time position, may require occasional weekend or overtime work.
