A.B. To continuously monitor Nursing and Paramedical staff performance in the hospital and bring any unhealthy issues to the notice of the CMO

C. To follow instructions by consultants to administer treatment and care to the patients and to ensure its proper record in the Case Sheet

D. To work in co-ordination with the CMO (Chief Medical Officer) with regard to duties and medical formalities
- To coordinate and appointment for outside procedures for patients like MRI, CT and also arranging for blood transfusion whenever required

F. To effectively and compassionately handle patient parties in case of a death or any other grievance

G. To update patient’s status accordingly.

H. Explain all operation consent to relatives and patients.

I. Take special consent properly.

J. Ward
- Coordination between consultants, patients and nurses.

Follow consultants on orders and implementing the same.

Attending consultant rounds and also conducting independent patient rounds.

Documentation-: IPD notes, Discharge, Death summary, DAMA and Transfer summary.

K. Handling PAC responsibilities.

L. Before shifting patient to any other institute inform the same to the concern Hospital and verify the availability.

M. Conducting ICU/OPD procedures (Tapping/Biopsy).

N. Attending emergency patients.

O. Giving over to the next RMO on duty.

P. Monitoring nurses on follow orders/medical documentation.

Q. Displaying OT list and coordinating with anesthetics and surgeon.

R. To maintain discipline in ward.

S. To attend to any kind of emergency in the casualty or other wards if required

T. To ensure that the discharge, death, data transfer summary handed over to the patient on discharge

U. OPD
- V. Taking history of patients.

W. Attending patient with consultant.

X. Follow post consultation orders (Investigation, Reference, PAC).

Y. To segregate follow-up patients for investigation, Dressing and HPR.

Z. Proper documentation of the file.

AA. Ensuring smooth functioning of OPD.

BB. Coordination between consultants, patients and front office staff.

Any other responsibility assigned by the management is to be carried out
