**Job Summary**
To report to duty on the allotted time.To continuously monitor Nursing and Paramedical staff performance in the hospital and bring any unhealthy issues to the notice of the Medical Superintendent ( MS)
To follow instructions by consultants to administer treatment and care to the patients and to ensure its proper record in the Case Sheet. To work in co-ordination with the Medical Superintendent (MS) with regard to duties and medical formalities.
To coordinate for outside procedures for patients like MRI, CT and also arranging for blood transfusion when ever required.
To effectively and compassionately handle patient parties in case of a death or any other grievance.To regularly go on rounds visiting all patients in the allotted ward. To attend to any kind of emergency in the casualty or other wards if required.To monitor the updating and documentation of medical records, registers etc., by the nursing and paramedical staff and to assist them whenever required.To ensure that the discharge summary handed over to the patient on discharge. To inform the consultant and regularly be in contact at the time of admission of a patient to his/her discharge.To regularly attend meetings organized by the HOD.Any other responsibility assigned by the HOD is to be carried out.
