**Responsibilities**:

- Curriculum Development and Delivery:

- Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive physical education lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and national standards.
- Plan and conduct a variety of physical activities, including individual and team sports, fitness exercises, and recreational games.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching strategies into physical education lessons.
- Instruction and Supervision:

- Provide clear and concise instructions and demonstrations of physical skills and techniques.
- Supervise students during physical activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among students.
- Assessment and Evaluation:

- Develop and administer appropriate assessments to evaluate student performance and understanding.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and progress.
- Provide regular reports to parents and school administrators on student performance.
- Extracurricular Activities:

- Organize and supervise extracurricular sports and fitness activities.
- Coach school sports teams and prepare them for interscholastic competitions.
- Assist with the planning and execution of school-wide sports events and activities.
- Professional Development:

- Stay current with the latest trends and research in physical education and sports science.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve the school's physical education program.
- School Duties:

- Perform other school duties as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and organized physical education environment.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree (PGT) in Physical Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license.
- Proven experience teaching physical education at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of physical education principles, sports science, and fitness training.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to coach various sports.
