- As a Furniture Industry Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our company's creative _
- and innovative design process. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, _
- and developing furniture products that meet both aesthetic and functional criteria. Your _
- designs will contribute to the growth and success of our furniture industry brand._
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Conceptualization and Design:_
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and _
- engineers, to develop design concepts for new furniture products._
- Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models of furniture designs._
- Ensure that designs are innovative, functional, and aligned with market _
- trends._
- Material and Finish Selection:_
- Research and select appropriate materials and finishes for each furniture _
- design._
- Consider factors such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability _
- when making material choices._
- Prototyping and Testing:_
- Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples of furniture designs._
- Test prototypes for structural integrity, comfort, and safety._
- Make necessary design revisions based on testing results._
- Technical Drawings:_
- Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing _
- purposes._
- Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate execution of _
- designs._
- Trend Analysis:_
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends and emerging technologies in _
- the furniture industry._
- Incorporate relevant trends into your design concepts._
- Collaboration:_
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand customer _
- needs and preferences._
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of design concepts._
- Cost Control:_
- Keep design projects within budgetary constraints by making cost-_
- effective material and production choices._
- Quality Assurance:_
- Ensure that the final products meet the quality and design standards set _
- during the conceptualization phase._
- Qualifications:_
- Bachelor's degree in industrial design, furniture design, or a related field._
- Proven experience as a furniture designer, preferably in the furniture industry._
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative _
- Suite._
- Strong conceptualization and sketching skills._
- Knowledge of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends._
- Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications._
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills._
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics._
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills._
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously._
- Flexibility to adapt to changing design requirements and priorities._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
