Job Context: : Hindalco is a leading producer of aluminium in the country. Extrusion process is very versatile & cost-effective metal forming process. The Silvassa Hindalco Extrusion section is new location and dedicated for B&C market which requires the low product cost with the utmost quality which is only possible with working of high-end press along with downstream process. Silvassa Extrusion plant aims to develop a one-of-a-kind Manufacturing Unit that will be highly automated to bring superior quality and consistency. Job Challenges:Land Acquisition Complexity: Navigating the intricacies and legal requirements of land acquisition, including negotiations with landowners, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with a multitude of land-related regulations, permits, and zoning laws, which may vary by region and change over time.
Community Relations: Managing relationships with local communities and addressing potential opposition or concerns related to land acquisition and development projects.
Land Title Verification: Verifying land titles and conducting due diligence to confirm the legal status and ownership of properties, which can be time-consuming and challenging in some cases.
Environmental Clearances: Overcoming hurdles related to environmental impact assessments and obtaining necessary clearances for land development projects, especially in ecologically sensitive areas.
Land Cost Fluctuations: Managing budgetary challenges due to fluctuations in land prices and ensuring cost-effective land acquisition for the organization

- KRA1- Liaison with the local authorities at Silvassa- Interact with the local authorities at Silvassa, understand their sentiment, initiate action to maintain positive sentiments of the external stake holder- KRA2- Ensure timely clearance of Electricity & water- Work closely with the project teams to get all statutory clearances like electricity, water and other clearances from the local bodies in time.- KRA3- Ensure the support of District Administration for the project- Work with district Administration, spearhead CSR related activity so as to have the support of District Administration for the organization- KRA4- Identify and tackle potential local concerns so as to ensure a smooth project execution.- Crate network and ensure that the organization is not taken by surprise due to an unknown local concern.
Aid in timely completion of the project.- KRA5- Government Regulations and Compliance- Stay updated on all local, state, and national regulations, including land use and environmental laws, and ensure the organization's compliance.

Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to navigate complex regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals.- KRA6- Land Acquisition and Management- Collaborate with land acquisition teams to identify and acquire suitable land for projects, ensuring compliance with land acquisition laws and regulations.

Oversee land surveying and title verification processes to ensure legal ownership and clear land titles.

Develop land management strategies to optimize land use for current and future projects.- KRA7- Land Use Planning and Zoning- Collaborate with urban planning departments to align project objectives with local land use plans and zoning regulations.

Advocate for necessary zoning changes or variances when required to meet project requirements.**Qualifications**:
