Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the têxtile retail segment.
- Strong knowledge of têxtile products, trends, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using relevant software/tools.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

**Role & responsibilities**

**Product Selection and Sourcing**:

- Collaborate with the buying team to identify and select têxtile products that align with the company's brand and target customer demographics.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive products, and emerging opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing to ensure competitive advantages.

**Merchandise Planning and Assortment**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandise plan, considering seasonal trends, customer preferences, and inventory levels.
- Analyse historical sales data and customer feedback to optimize product assortments and identify top-performing products.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

**Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation**:

- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to create appealing displays that enhance the in-store shopping experience.
- Implement strategies to optimize product placement, highlighting key products and promotions to drive sales.

**Sales and Performance Analysis**:

- Analyse sales performance, customer preferences, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Generate and review sales reports regularly to make data-driven decisions regarding product assortment and inventory management.

**Quality Control and Compliance**:

- Ensure the quality and compliance of têxtile products, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and address customer feedback or complaints related to product quality promptly.

**Vendor Relationship Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors, franchise owners etc, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Address any issues or concerns related to vendor performance, franchise queries and take appropriate actions as needed.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
