**Job Summary**:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Welders for our shipbuilding projects. The role involves executing various welding processes on steel structures, hulls, and ship components as per drawings and specifications while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform welding (SMAW, MIG, TIG, FCAW) on ship components, structural parts, and pipe sections as per technical drawings and welding procedures.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials for welding, including grinding, cleaning, and fitting.
- Conduct tack welding and final welding on plates and pipes.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
- Perform welding inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., visual check, dye penetrant test).
- Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and onboard ship structures.
- Follow shipyard safety policies and procedures strictly.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Coordinate with fitters, fabricators, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant technical field.
- Proven experience in shipbuilding or heavy steel fabrication.
- Proficient in welding processes such as SMAW, MIG/MAG, TIG, and FCAW.
- Familiar with standards such as AWS, ASME, or equivalent.
- Ability to work from detailed fabrication drawings.
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work in shipyard environments.

**Preferred**:

- Certification in welding from a recognized authority (e.g., CSWIP, AWS, IACS-approved).
- Knowledge of marine welding codes and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV, IRS).
- Experience in welding of high-tensile steel and aluminum (if applicable).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
