Factory Controller

The incumbent is the second in command after the factory Commercial, needs to be a digital native with a good business acumen and sound financial knowledge
- MIS, Reporting and Controlling:

- Preparation of the annual plan / budget for the factory ( Factory target agreement) in alignment with the factory management
- Detailed planning of the factory overheads, monthly monitoring of the progress vs budget and initiative corrective actions
- Monthly closing activities including the analysis of the accruals, provisions, appropriate bookings and initiate corrective postings within the closing schedule
- Budgeting and regular monitoring of fixed asset investments including appropriate and timely capitalization
- Cashflow monitoring and control including forecasting and timely interventions to ensure correct deviations
- Active monitoring of inventory including inventory turns, aging & obsolescence provisions and timely initiation of actions to prevent / liquidate obsolete inventory
- Active monitoring of financial aspects of productivity initiatives and reporting
- Co-ordination and reporting of financial MIS data to the local and HQ teams
- Co-ordination / interacting with internal and external auditors
- Hands on knowledge of SAP including
- Input and maintenance of Regulativ including the update and maintenance of cost sheet, activity rate and activity types in SAP
- Basic understanding of Tablaeu or Power BI and other analytical software / tools
- Working knowledge and experience in working on SAP R/4 in a factory environment

What you need to make real what matters

Commerce Graduate with about 8 years experience of which atleast 3 years as a team lead in a Factory environment
- ( A chartered accountancy or cost accountancy would be an added advantage but not essential and in case of CA/CWA the post qualification experience requirements can be reduced to 5 years)

Ability to lead a team and very good interpersonal relationship2

Experience or knowledge about product costing can be an added advantage

Willingness to learn and excel in the function, should be a self starter

Very sound understanding of FI/CO module of SAP and basic understanding of MM and SD modules
