**Your day at NTT DATA**

The Associate Legal Advisor is an entry level Legal professional who provides Legal support on engagements of moderate legal complexity and/or scope, often routine in nature.

This role takes guidance from more experienced members of the team and focuses on providing standard professional advice and creating initial analysis and solutions for review.

This role may assist with the analysis of Legal documents or other assignments.

**What you'll be doing**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provides basic legal support to business and/or operations on vanilla engagements and transactions, under the supervision of a more senior member of his/her legal team.
- Reviews and provides general advice on simple standard agreements such as confidentiality agreements and intercompany agreements or simple legal issues.
- May make minor customizations to legal terms and conditions in simple standard agreements.
- May support a Legal Adviser or Legal Manager on legal engagements and transactions.
- Administers programs and procedures to administer legal policies or help Senior Legal Advisers/Managers to do so.
- Prepares legal reports on the status of legal matters based on detailed instructions and templates.
- Maintain MIS of Asia Pacific NTT Group Companies
- Basic knowledge on non-disclosure agreement & other legal documents.
- Understanding & ready to learn various legal tech tools.
- Research on India & APAC (Asia Pacific) Legal Laws.
- Coordinating with various consultants from different jurisdiction.

**Knowledge and Attributes**:

- Possesses or in process of acquiring legal support qualifications or has good, related practice or operations knowledge and experience.
- Developing experienced in performing a paralegal's duties or other like roles.
- Developing experience helping to administer one or more operational policies or programs.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in high-pressure situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb attention to detail; good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proactive approach to work and willingness to learn.
- Strong research abilities.
- Good teamwork and collaboration abilities.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma or other relevant certifications or qualifications in legal studies or related fields.

**Required Experience**:

- Developing level of experience working in similar role gained within a similar environment.
