**Job Title**: Procurement Officer

**Reports to**: Manager Admin

**Location**: Pune

**Major Work Responsibilities**:

- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Following and enforcing the organizations' procurement policies and procedures.
- Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased.
- Communication with suppliers, contractors, and department officials and employees regarding purchase requisitions.
- Well versed with current market conditions, trends, and new product development.
- Negotiating effectively with potential vendors.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
- Technical Knowledge about SPMs & setting up processing units.

**Procurement Officer Requirements**:

- 2 to 3 years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Attention to detail.

**∙Age **-Between 25 to 35 years

**∙Education** -Graduation / Post graduation with good computer proficiency

**∙Work experience** -Minimum 2 to 3 years and above

∙Interest in working for a social cause

∙Minimum 3 years’ commitment

∙Must be able to communicate in Marathi, English

**Salary**: From ₹30,000.00 per month
