**1. Patient Care and Safety (as per NABH Patient Rights & Education Standards)**:
- Identify patients correctly before the procedure using two identifiers.
- Explain procedures, obtain informed consent, and ensure patient comfort.
- Monitor patient condition during and after the procedure.
- Maintain confidentiality and dignity throughout the diagnostic process.
**2. Technical Responsibilities (as per NABH Care of Patients Standards)**:
- Prepare, calibrate, and operate neuro diagnostic equipment.
- Perform:
- Electroencephalogram (EEG)
- Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV)
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Visual Evoked Potential (VEP)
- Brainstem Auditory Evoked Responses (BAER)
- Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP)
- Ensure proper electrode placement and signal quality.
- Record accurate data, annotate events, and archive results appropriately.
- Assist in intraoperative neuro-monitoring when required.
**3. Documentation and Reporting (as per NABH Information Management System)**:
- Maintain clear and accurate patient records.
- Document pre-procedure checks, test parameters, and post-test observations.
- Report abnormalities or critical findings to the supervising physician immediately.
- Enter data into Hospital Information System (HIS) / EMR as applicable.
**4. Equipment and Infection Control (as per NABH Facility Management & Safety)**:
- Disinfect and maintain all equipment as per infection control protocols.
- Perform preventive maintenance and report malfunctions.
- Maintain inventory of consumables and request re-stocking as needed.
- Adhere to biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
**5. Quality and Compliance (as per NABH CQI Standards)**:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all diagnostic procedures.
- Participate in internal audits, quality checks, and corrective action processes.
- Attend departmental CMEs, fire safety, and BLS training as mandated.
- Assist in implementing new protocols as part of continuous quality improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- **Academic**: Diploma / B.Sc. in Neuro diagnostics / EEG Technology / Neurophysiology or equivalent.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years in a NABH-accredited hospital preferred.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Proficient in neuro diagnostic equipment use and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of nervous system anatomy and physiology.
- Effective communication and patient handling skills.
- Familiarity with NABH standards and documentation.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
**Work Environment**:
- Hospital Neurology OPD, Wards, ICU, or Neuro diagnostic Labs.
- Requires interaction with doctors, nurses, and patients.
- May require on-call duties and extended hours in emergencies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
