Solution Architect

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-depth guidance to customers to align their unique business needs with Planview solution capabilities
- Facilitate deep-dive solution workshops and lead configuration activities to achieve customer’s business outcomes
- Translate customer business requirements and define required processes and best practices where relevant and use cases into a best practice driven configured solution
- Complete migrations, implementations, and configuration of products or services for customers including add-ons, analytics, and integrations with other products
- Define reporting and analytics business requirements and complete functional specification documentation
- Leverage consulting skills and experience to address day-to-day challenges when dealing with customers, including conflict resolution, trouble shooting, and resolution of customer issues
- Conduct quality assurance checks and testing during implementations to ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Work collaboratively with Planview teams to support overall solution documentation and build internal knowledge base
- Support/work with Planview Managing Consultants, Customer Success Managers and Solution Architects (and other technical teams) to deliver solutions to customer within time and budget

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 12-15 years of customer-facing design and implementation consulting experience with an ability to demonstrate previous results across different industry sectors - on Project and Program Management.
- Broad understanding of software implementation practices
- Experience in end-to-end design and implementation of any popular Project & Portfolio Management solutions like Clarity, HP PPM, Microsoft Project Server etc.
- Good experience in functional and technical consulting on similar domain/products
- Knowledge of underlying functional and/or technical capabilities (project/resource management, financial management, product development, lean and agile delivery, etc.)
- Ability to gain deep technical knowledge of product(s) supported
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with technology and/or industry changes relative to Planview’s product offerings (e.g. PPM, CWM, Lean/Agile, etc.)
- Process architecture experience with the ability to analyze customer processes and translate into solutions
- Experience with a variety of software platforms and delivery methods including web-based and cloud-based systems
- Experience with basic technology tools including MS Office, Visio, Project, Power BI, writing SQL queries, understanding ERDs etc.
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management of Information Science, or Business (or related degree) or demonstrated relevant experience
- Related certifications or industry designations preferred (e.g. LPM, SAFe, PMP, CPA, etc.)
- Willing to travel overseas
- Experience with Planview and/or similar solutions - Planview Enterprise, Clarizen, LeanKit, Project Place, Spigit is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - written and verbal
- Based out of Bangalore or ready to relocate to Bangalore
- Ability and willingness to mentor junior colleagues and team building
- Flexibility to work during US/EMEA/APAC business hours to align with customer availabilities
- Independent or on-site customer consulting, responding to a variety of customer situations and personalities at all levels
- IT or systems implementation or integration
- Business analysis, workflow analysis, and data analysis
