**Profile - Structural Designer Lead**

**Qualification - B.Tech - Civil**

**Experience - Min. 8+ yrs in residential construction project and must knowledge of CAD and BIM software**

**Location - Bangalore**

Structural Analysis and Design: Develop structural systems for buildings, ensuring they can withstand loads and stresses while adhering to safety standards.

Material Selection: Recommend materials based on the project's needs, budget, and structural requirements.

Blueprint Creation: Produce detailed drawings, blueprints, and models for structures, using CAD or BIM software.

Code Compliance: Ensure that all designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of structural engineers, drafters, and possibly interns, guiding them through various phases of the project.

Coordination with Other Teams: Work closely with architects, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineers, and project managers to ensure structural plans align with the overall building design.

Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance and control for structural components, reviewing work for accuracy and compliance.

Risk Management: Identify potential structural risks and implement solutions to mitigate them. Client Meetings: Communicate structural design concepts and decisions to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.

Project Updates: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of progress, design adjustments, or any delays.

Budget and Cost Estimation: Work with project managers and finance teams to estimate structural costs, proposing cost-effective design solutions where possible. Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring structural designs are implemented correctly.

Troubleshooting: Address any on-site structural issues that may arise during construction, providing quick, effective solutions.

Compliance Verification: Ensure that the construction process adheres to structural designs, codes, and safety standards through regular checks and inspections.
