Gis Trainer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery:

- Design and deliver interactive GIS training sessions using ArcGIS Pro and other GIS tools.
- Conduct comprehensive theoretical and hands-on practical sessions.
- Tailor training programs to match the audience's skill level and learning objectives.

2. Curriculum Development:

- Create detailed course modules, lesson plans, and real-world exercises.
- Regularly update training materials to reflect the latest GIS advancements and trends.

3. Programming Integration:

- Showcase automation techniques and custom tool development in GIS workflows.

4. Student/Participant Support:

- Provide individual guidance to participants, ensuring an enhanced learning experience.
- Evaluate assignments and projects, offering constructive feedback.

5. Assessment and Reporting:

- Develop assessments to measure learning outcomes.
- Compile reports on participant performance and identify areas for improvement.

**Requirements**:
1. Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, including advanced features and extensions.
- Strong Python programming skills for GIS workflows (e.g., ArcPy, GeoPandas, Shapely, Rasterio).
- Familiarity with open-source GIS tools like QGIS is a plus.

3. Experience:

- Minimum 1 year of teaching or training experience in GIS.
- At least 2 years of practical GIS experience in real-world projects.

4. Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

5. Certifications (preferred):

- Esri certifications in ArcGIS or other GIS tools.
- Professional training certifications.
