Minimum Qualification

DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (DME)

**Job Description**:

- The inspector should be proficient in using precise measuring instruments (such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify that dimensions conform to the specified tolerance levels.
- To conduct NDT (MPI, DP, UT) inspections of proof finished & finish machined components (Castings, Forgings, Welded structures).
- The inspector should have experience of inspection of fabricated housings/shells or heavy fabricated jobs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and knowledge of various raw material standards.
- Liaison with client / customer / customer’s representative for inspection activities and clearances.
- Raise product NCRs wherever deviation observed & conduct root cause analysis on product NCRs and Customer complaints pertaining to vendor problems. Capable to handle NCR Management System.
- The inspector should have sound knowledge of various fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, machining, and assembly.
