What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

Design, develop and test to create quality solutions on time and within budget. To collaborate with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.

Ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.

**Who you are**:
**You are an Enterprise Architect**:

- Responsible for proposing high level solutions and help drive improvements for Cloud Architecture and Application Architecture thereby ensuring that Cloud and On-Premise solutions are sustainable, resilient, scalable and secure.
- Teammate who is oriented to try to drive agility within the rest of our organization.
- In this role, you may be asked to research new technologies or platforms related to enterprise architecture and share with the rest of the team
- Providing Technical consultation to other project teams within the organization
- Research new technologies or platforms related to DevOps and share with the rest of the team, and/or provide consultation to other project teams within the organization, voicing support for best practices and security standards.
- Evangelizing best practices and security standards.
- Work collaboratively in teams and develop substantial relationships to achieve common goals.

**What you will do**:

- Work closely with IT teams/business teams and guide them in architecture/solutioning decisions
- Participate in architecture design review discussions for Cloud and On-Premise solutions
- Design, automate and support CI/CD stack, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and logging
- Support the deployment of containers and container orchestration technologies (ex. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Partner with the Global DevOps group to inform new standards/best practices/policies
- Should possess the skills of identifying risks in proposed solutions and suggest alternatives/ mitigations.
- Maintain deep knowledge of evolving trends and the latest advancements in technology and conduct research in the industry to find ways in which to improve our operations.
- Evaluate and evangelize forward-looking processes, tools and technologies that help deliver high-quality secure software faster and more efficiently, in conjunction with GIT Architecture team
- Identify technology standardization opportunities, specify options, weigh implementation complexities and risks to make the right technical decision.
- Understand Colgate IT Strategies and best practices and align them with business needs.
- Obtain advice from higher-level Information Technology associates when precedents are unclear.
- Should possess a strategic approach

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar degree with 5+ years of experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in roles in IT architecture teams with a proven track record of delivery.
- Strong knowledge of architecture methodologies, principles, and frameworks.
- Experience with at least one Cloud Based Platform (Google Cloud Platform, AWS). Knowledge in other cloud platforms like Azure, Cloud Foundry would be an added advantage.
- Experience in architecting and implementing using Microservices, Containerization technologies (Docker etc)
- Previous experience in a DevOps or Release Engineer role working closely with Software Engineers
- Highly structured thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly get the most relevant information and digest this information into a
