The Junior Field Assistant will be responsible for overseeing and supporting fieldwork activities as assigned by the senior field personnel. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle payment transactions and coordinate with vendors. The Junior Field Assistant will work closely with a senior team member to ensure the smooth execution of field projects and to achieve project objectives.

**Responsibilities**:
Fieldwork Oversight: Supervise and manage fieldwork activities as allocated by the senior field personnel. Ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with project guidelines.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the senior field personnel and other team members to coordinate field activities, assign tasks, and maintain effective communication throughout the project.

Payments and Vendor Management: Handle payment processes, including invoices and reimbursements, related to fieldwork expenses. Liaise with vendors and service providers, ensuring timely payments and resolving any payment-related issues.

Problem-solving: Actively participate in troubleshooting challenges that arise during fieldwork and contribute to finding practical solutions.

Field Reports: Contribute to the preparation of field reports, providing valuable input and data summaries for analysis and project evaluation.

Vendor Coordination: Facilitate communication with vendors, contractors, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of field-related services and supplies.

Learning and Growth: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to improve skills and knowledge related to fieldwork and vendor management.

Travel and Flexibility: Be prepared for frequent travel to various field sites and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to accommodate project needs.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or relevant certifications may be advantageous).
- Previous experience in fieldwork or related activities is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in communication and teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of payment processing and vendor management is preferred.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and reliable data.
