The Assistant Interior Designer supports the lead designer in creating innovative and functional interior designs for residential and commercial spaces. This role involves assisting in all phases of the design process, from concept development to project completion, ensuring that design solutions are practical, aesthetically pleasing, and meet the clients' needs. The Assistant Interior Designer helps with the preparation of design presentations, sourcing materials, and maintaining project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Design Support**:

- Assist in developing design concepts and presentations.
- Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D renderings.
- Participate in client meetings to understand design requirements and preferences.
- **Material Sourcing and Selection**:

- Source and select furniture, fixtures, fabrics, and finishes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain samples and quotes.
- **Project Coordination**:

- Assist in the coordination of design projects from concept to completion.
- Help manage project timelines, budgets, and schedules.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure design implementation.
- **Documentation and Administration**:

- Maintain accurate records of design projects, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
- Prepare and update project documents, including design briefs, contracts, and purchase orders.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Communicate effectively with clients to present design ideas and updates.
- Address client inquiries and provide design solutions in a timely manner.
- **Site Visits**:

- Conduct site visits to ensure design concepts are being implemented correctly.
- Take measurements and photographs for reference in design development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience or internships in interior design is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial planning.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings.

- Creativity: Ability to generate innovative and visually appealing design ideas.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software and the ability to create detailed drawings and renderings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in design work and documentation.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from lead designers.

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position, typically during regular business hours.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project deadlines and client needs.
- Regular site visits and travel to suppliers or client locations may be required.

Reports to:

- Lead Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
