**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- You are responsible for Managing, Deploying, Configuring SolarWinds.
- As an SME/L2, you are required to design and build SolarWinds instance, participate in design discussion, participate in requirement gathering, change deployment, assess change impact, configure the SolarWinds instance for optimal performance, review configuration and suggest changes, configure Additional Poling Engine e.t.c.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Network Fundamentals
- Good Knowledge in the use of network management protocols (e.g. SNMP Versions, SNMP Traps, SNMP MIB, Syslog, ICMP, etc.)
- Schedule reports
- Create custom alerts
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL
- Installation & Configuration of HA, Additional Polling Engine, different modules like NPM, NCM, NAM, IPAM
- Troubleshoot issue if alerts are not functioning as expected
- Verify if all the scheduled reports are working as expected
- Log a call with Solarwinds in case of any issue or requirement
- Check whether all the components are getting polled in monitoring tools
- Good Knowledge in creating NCM Backups and Schedule the same as per the IBM standards
- Troubleshoot SolarWinds issues and work with appropriate IBM Client teams until resolution
- Monitoring and management of tools in the implementation, support troubleshooting, and operation of the Network Performance Monitor, Network Configuration Manager, IPAM, NAM.

Experience with major Microsoft technologies including PC and server operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Office.
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies
LINUX/UNIX experience in an operational environment
Use/Knowledge of a Ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow
Knowledge of computer hardware architecture
Use/knowledge of Network and Internet Applications and Protocols
Prior experience leading training
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in 24X7 environment and experience in handling provisioning related issues.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- SolarWinds Certified Administrator
