**1.Transportation Planning and Route Optimization**:

- Develop and execute optimized transportation plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align delivery schedules with production and dispatch requirements.

**2. Vendor Management**:

- Liaise with logistics service providers ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Evaluate and onboard new vendors as needed.

o-Address any issues, delays, or disruptions proactively.

**4. Cost Control and Budget Monitoring**:

o-Monitor adherence transportations budgets.

**5. Performance Monitoring and Process Improvements**:
o-Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regularly.

o-Suggest and implement process enhancements for better operational efficiency.

6.Stakeholder Communication:
o-Provide shipment updates to internal and external stakeholders.

o-Address and resolve queries promptly.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Primary Transportation KPIs:

- **On-Time Delivery (OTD)**:
o-Target: 98% or higher.

o-Measures the percentage of deliveries reaching their destination within the scheduled time window.
- **Truck Placement Accuracy**:
o-Target: 98% or higher.

o-Measures the percentage of correct and timely truck placements for dispatch as per RCPL’s SLA.
- **Transit Time Adherence**:
o-Target: 96% or higher.

o-Measures adherence to agreed transit times, ensuring mínimal delays.
- **Freight Cost per Unit/Distance (Cost Efficiency)**:
o-Target: Industry or internal benchmark.

o-Measures the cost of transportation per kilometre or per ton of goods delivered.
- **Utilization of Fleet Capacity**:
o-Target: 95% or higher.

o-Measures the percentage of the fleet's carrying capacity being utilized.
- **Load Optimization (FTL/LTL)**:
o-Target: Maximize FTL (Full Truckload) movements.

o-Measures the effectiveness of loading trucks treduce partial truckloads (LTL) and optimize cost.
- **Lead Time (Planning & Execution)**:
o-Target: < 12 hours.

o-Measures the time between receiving the transport order and successful shipment departure.
- **Damage/Shortage Rates**:
o-Target: Below 0.05%.

o-Tracks the rate of damage or shortage in goods transported, indicating efficiency and care in handling.
