**Job Description & Qualifications**
- 1) Commodity Estimation Knowledge for Exterior & Structural Systems Components:

- Exterior Commodities: Bumper Molding, Painting & Assy, Grills, Exterior trims, Mirror Assy, Exterior Lightings, Door Handles, Hinges & Check arms, Glasses, Window Regulator, Wiper Assembly etc.,
- Exposure to either one or more of these new technologies in Exterior System Commodities like Exterior Lightings with Digital MicroMirror device based LED Lighting technologies, LiDar, Li-Fi Technologies, Aquablade Wiper System, Headsup Display Windshield, Sunroof with Touch Sensitive, Opacity/Transparency features will be an added advantage.
- 2~10 years of overall experience with minimum 1 year of PD/Manufacturing experience in EV vehicles/commodities in OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers preferred.

2) Develop physical based cost estimates by reviewing Engineering drawings/CAD /Bill of Material/ physical parts & their functional information. Practical Experience/ Good understanding of Plastics manufacturing processes - Injection molding, Blow molding, Compression molding, Composites, Plastic painting & plating.
- 3) Support New Program Target Setting through Best Cost Efficiency Tools (BCeT) and Affordable Cost Target (ACT) estimates.
- 4) Develop Cost Gap Analysis and support Cross Functional Teams during supplier negotiations and cost workshops.
- 5) Support Should Cost (Part/Tooling) for Cost Design Review (CDR) and Change Control Processes.
- 6) Exposure to ED&T, CAPEX & Tooling manufacturing Costing.
- 7) Support Competitive/Benchmarking Analysis of the Commodities and support line walk/Idea Generation Events.
- 8) Demonstrate a solid understanding of business concepts and critical thinking skills.
- 9) Maintain data integrity, accuracy and use data to generate material cost reduction opportunities.
- 10) Plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within the defined timeline.
- 11) Domestic and International travel is required.-
