Junior Architectural Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

- **Drafting and Design Support**:

- Assist in creating architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Convert rough sketches and ideas from senior architects into detailed technical drawings.
- **Collaboration with Architects and Designers**:

- Work under the supervision of senior architects and designers to ensure that designs are accurately translated into drawings and meet the project requirements.
- Help with the preparation of design concepts, presentations, and visual materials.
- **Model Creation**:

- Assist in creating 3D models and visualizations using BIM (Building Information Modeling) software, ensuring design integrity and accuracy.
- **Construction Documentation**:

- Support the development of construction documents, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Ensure that drawings are updated and maintain consistency with revisions and changes.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all drafted documents are accurate, clear, and meet the required standards of the firm and the client.
- **Project Coordination**:

- Coordinate with other team members, engineers, and consultants to ensure that all aspects of the project are considered in the drafting process.
- Assist with site visits or surveys as necessary to gather information for project development.
- **Maintaining Documentation**:

- Organize and maintain digital and physical copies of project drawings, documents, and design files.

Key Skills:

- **Proficiency in CAD Software**:

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural drafting and design software.

- Ability to produce precise and detailed drawings, catching potential errors or inconsistencies.
