**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Assemble and fit mechanical components according to design requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for fitting tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Test and commission installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Assist in the modification and improvement of existing mechanical systems.

**Requirements**:

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification.
- Proven experience as a mechanical fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of tools and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the machine tool industry or working with CNC machines.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Certification in welding or fabrication.
