Drone Pilot

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Conduct safe and efficient drone flight operations for agricultural spraying (pesticides, fertilizers) and crop monitoring.
- Operate and maintain agricultural drones, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety guidelines.
- Plan and execute drone missions based on field requirements and predefined flight parameters.
- Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections to ensure operational safety and equipment readiness.
- Coordinate with farmers and field teams to assess spraying needs and communicate operational plans effectively.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and collaborate with the technical support team for resolution.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of flight operations, equipment maintenance, and chemical usage.
- Provide training and demonstrations to farmers or local teams on drone spraying processes and safety measures.
- Ensure compliance with all aviation and agriculture-related regulatory guidelines and certifications.

**SEE YOUR FIT**:

- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- **Drone Pilot Certification** (mandatory) with hands-on experience in agricultural drone operations.
- 1-3 years of experience in drone flight operations, particularly for agricultural spraying.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining drones, including knowledge of safety procedures and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop spraying techniques, and chemical usage.
- Proficiency in **local language (Kannada)** is mandatory for effective communication with farmers.
- A valid **driving license** is mandatory for field mobility.
- Ability to travel extensively within Karnataka to rural and semi-urban areas.
- Basic technical proficiency for mission planning tools, flight control software, and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Physically fit to handle field operations and equipment setup.
- Familiarity with Drone as a Service (DaaS) solutions.
- Experience in conducting field trials and product demonstrations.
- Basic knowledge of agricultural inputs (fertilizers, pesticides).

**Work Environment**:

- Field-based role with extensive travel to rural and semi-urban locations in Karnataka.
- Involves physical tasks, outdoor operations, and variable weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
